OINP is an abbreviation for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. It works in conjunction with the Canadian Government via IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship). This program is designed for international students, foreign workers and others who wish to apply for permanent residence in Ontario.
The OINP identifies and nominates people with the skills and experiences needed in Ontario for permanent residence. Furthermore, once they have been selected, the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve the selections.

Those who qualify via the employer Job offer category have the options of applying via three streams. Note that you must have created your profile on the OINP filling portal before you can select any of these streams. The next step is to register an expression of interest for your category.
